1968
FMM's first office was located at the Standard Chartered Bank building in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur. NOVEMBER 14
First Annual General Meeting of FMM. Tan Sri Nik Ahmad Kamil of Rothmans of Pall Mall (M) Berhad was elected as President of FMM.
1969
DECEMBER 26
Regional Committees set up in Johor, Perak, Penang, which led to the formation of Branches in the respective states.
The First FMM Directory was published.
1971
APRIL 3-18
First FMM "Made in Malaysia" trade fair at Stadium Negara attended by more than 400,000 visitors.
