UPDATE 36: Weekly Reporting on Compliance to the Standard Operating
Procedure during Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)
Reference is made to the Members’Advisory 31 issued on May 4, 2020 which provided information on the daily reporting during Movement Control Order (MCO) and Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).
Effective June 10, 2020, companies are required by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) to submit a weekly reporting via one stop centre at http://notification.miti.gov.my.
The report is required for a weekly compliance status to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) during the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) period. The information reported has to be the current status of compliance to the SOP during any particular week. The reporting requirement is enforced by DOSH under Section 15, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 where duty of every employer is to ensure the safety, health and well-being of all employees while they are at work.
An employer or appointed coordinator is responsible to submit one (1) report a week for each workplace even if only oneperson is working, commencing from week of June 10, 2020 as below:
- 10/6/2020(Wednesday) - 14/6/2020 (Sunday)
- 15/6/2020(Monday) - 21/6/2020 (Sunday)
- 22/6/2020(Monday) - 28/6/2020 (Sunday)
- 29/6/2020(Monday) - 5/7/2020 (Sunday)
The list continues until August 31, 2020.
